Every carpet you clean is a real painting. Not a texture. Not a pattern. An actual masterpiece woven into a rug: the Mona Lisa, Starry Night, The Great Wave, The Night Watch, buried under years of grime, waiting for you to bring it back. Scrub. Foam. Squeegee. Watch a 500-year-old face surface out of the dirt under your thumb. RELAX AND SCRUB Drag your finger across the pile and the grime lifts in greyscale. Lay foam and the colour floods back in reds, golds and that impossible blue. There is no timer, no fail state, no one shouting at you. Clean until it feels done, then decide for yourself when to hand it back. DAY ONE, AND THEN YOU QUIT You start as an employee. Jeff hands you a filthy rug, shouts the job at you one verb at a time, and pays you a single dollar for it. Then you hand in your notice, walk out with none of his equipment, and open your own shop with a brush that can barely manage a thumbprint. Everything after that is yours, and your family notice. Your mum's neighbour needs a rug done. Your brother wants a favour. Uncle Vito has a hotel and a test piece, and your grandma has friends whose taste in art needs asking about first. THE SHINE IS THE MONEY Foam doesn't just look good. Restoring colour mints COLOUR ESSENCE: glossy bubbles tinted by the exact patch of painting they were born on. FAINT, CLEAR, VIVID, and the jackpot RADIANT. Plow them across the floor with the squeegee, bounce them off each other, and shove them down the drain before they fade. Mud slows a bubble down. Scrub yourself a clean lane to the drain first and they'll run it three times faster. BETTER BRUSHES, BIGGER RUGS The brush in your hand is the ceiling on everything else. Scrub Pad, Scrubber, Power Brush, and finally an Electric one that lifts the limit off entirely, each rung unlocking upgrades the last one refused to sell you. Clean well enough at one size and the next size opens: doormats, then medium, then large, then a museum calling about a painting you have already perfected three times over. THEN THE ROBOTS ARRIVE Buy Robo-Buddies by the dozen. They patrol the rug on their own, scrubbing dirt, foaming colour, herding your bubbles toward the drain while you do something else entirely. This is where it turns idle: come back later and the crew has been working. They also have eyes. Finish a job, put the phone down, and see what they get up to when they think the work is over. A SHOP FULL OF BAD IDEAS - 254 public-domain paintings, from Vermeer to Mondrian - Rugs in rect, square, round and oval, plus rare RUNNER rugs woven from real panoramas - Stains worth chasing: oil, dog mess, and the occasional one best not asked about - Side hustles: sell your mud to the pig farm next door, your lifted stains to a man in a trench coat, your colour essence to a painter who pays properly for it - Open a new shop: hand over the keys, claim your REP, and spend it in the Lab - Dirt Goggles, Drain Magnets, Waxed Floors, Stain Lasers, Noise Dampers - Achievements, quality stars in bronze/silver/gold, and a diamond one you have to earn MEET ROBIN AND DINO Robin, a crooked accountant, sells optional one-off purchases: permanent income multipliers, and Friends in High Places, for better odds of rare jobs. And Dino, who made all of this, sometimes steps in to ask for a tip: one matcha latte. The packs are shortcuts, not gates, and nothing hides behind a wait-or-pay timer. After a few hours of free play, some players are asked for one small pack, or to watch an ad, to keep going. NO ADS INTERRUPTING YOUR PLAY, AND IT PLAYS OFFLINE Take it on a plane or down a tunnel and it works the same. Nothing interrupts a clean rug with a video, nothing expires while you're gone, nothing nags you to come back. Some receipts carry one small banner, an indie app or an ad, and some offer double pay for an ad you choose to watch. Any pack ends every ad for good, and Options can bring them back. Turn the sound on. It's most of the point.

Version History Buy any pack and you never see an ad again. Miss them? Options can bring any kind back. Clearer choices: paying is green, ads are blue, and the ways out are grey. Please use feedback or app review to let me know what you would like to see next 1.11.0 4d ago Two new characters have moved into town. Clean their rugs and find out what they are after. Buying any pack now adds Options switches for the indie app card and the double-up video, so you decide whether they stay. Please use feedback or app review to let me know what you would like to see next 1.10.0 5d ago Sweeping the bugs under the carpet :D Please use feedback or app review to let me know what you would like to see next 1.9.2 6d ago - New on some receipts: WATCH AD, DOUBLE PAY. Tap it, watch the ad, and that job pays twice. It only ever plays if you tap it, and it never gets in the way of a rug. - After your first video, iOS may ask whether the game can track you, so the ads can be more relevant. Either answer is fine: the video plays and pays the same. - Bought something? The ads go away, but you can switch them back on in OPTIONS if you like them. Please use feedback or app review to let me know what you would like to see next 1.9.1 Sep 28 - Big money reads better: past a million the wallet shows three digits, like $1.23M and $12.3M, instead of jumping in huge steps. - Ability to rename your company from OPTIONS. - The WET readout sits beside CLEAN now, so a new award can never cover it. - Smoother with a big crew: the shop no longer stutters while a bunch of robots clean in the background. - Bought something? The ad cards for other indie apps stay off, and now you can switch them back on in OPTIONS if you liked them. Please use feedback or app review to let me know what you would like to see next. Most of the fixes are thanks to your feedback. 1.9.0 Sep 15 - Sorry, Courier Radios shipped broken and did nothing at all — now your couriers really do call dibs. - If you own The Singularity, your robots now tell you when the job is done, camera or no camera. - The shop shows every upgrade now, even the locked ones, with what each is waiting for. - Handing a rug back gets one of five send-offs instead of always the same one. Please use feedback or app review to let me know what you would like to see next 1.8.0 Sep 12 - Fixed a sneaky bug where foam and the squeegee could put mud back onto a rug you had already finished, costing you stars. - Fixed Courier Radios. Robots now call dibs on a essence bubbles over the radio instead of all charging toward the same one like idiots. - Receipts now print your exact score down to the tenth. Because 4.9 stars and 5.0 stars are emotionally very different things. - The DAY strip is readable again. Plain paper won the battle against frosted glass. - Improved the carpet completion animation. Nobody asked for this, but I like it more, so here we are. Please use feedback or app review to let me know what you would like to see next 1.7.1 Sep 8 - Every tool now sounds like what it just did. A full scoop, a stray crumb, bristles on clean wool. The squeegee speaks the moment the blade catches a bubble. - The cap on how much colour essence can sit on a carpet at once is gone. Foam as fast as you like. - Eddy has eight more things to say. - Fixed: a birthday job that used to go missing. - New: one small card, on your receipt and in the PREMIUM aisle, showing another independent developer's app. Never a video, never over the rug, and gone for good if you buy anything. 1.7.0 Sep 7 WE FIXED THE FEATURE THAT PUNISHED YOU FOR CHANGING YOUR MIND If you opened one of the Executive Time Packs, got as far as Apple's payment sheet and then tapped outside it to back out, the game took it personally and quit on the spot. It doesn't any more. Cancel a purchase, change your mind, cancel it again... the shop stays open and your rug is still exactly where you left it. The same fault could also swallow a purchase that DID go through: charged, but the pack never turned up. If that happened to you, tap RESTORE PURCHASES at the bottom of the shop and it will land. Nothing was lost. Joking aside: thank you, Mr. Gliding Scarf, for the report. 1.6.1 Sep 6 CLOSE THE APP MID-RUG AND THE RUG IS STILL THERE Swiping the game away used to hand a half-done carpet back to its owner and drop you on the job board as if nothing happened. Now you come back to the same rug, the same clock, the same bubbles waiting for the drain, and the same mud on your shop floor. It was your mess. It kept it for you. THE MUD GOES SOMEWHERE Scrub and the clods fly off the rim of the brush, arc through the air and land on the floor, in the exact spot the floor gets dirty. The sponge throws the colour it just uncovered. The squeegee only splashes where there is foam to splash. The confetti at the end is cut from the painting you cleaned. And each star on the receipt lands with a little twist and a bell you can actually hear this time. THE SHOP OPENS ON THE OFFICE Nearly everyone bought Brush Power first while the three cards that turn money on sat five tabs away. The OFFICE is the first aisle now, the laptop counts what you can afford, and the pig farmer, the detective and the painter quote your last receipt instead of a percentage. ALSO - Three new awards for money you threw away: the mud, the stains and the colour you never sold. - Every CREW card is a robot now, drawn from the real ones. So are the four robot awards. The crime scene badge is a splat. - Mum turns up on day one. Nobody is asked to wait until tomorrow. - Your customers have ordinary names. Auntie Sprinkles has been let go. - The answer buttons are twice as tall, so your thumb lands on the one you meant. - The job board hangs from the top, the top strip is glass, and a job conversation sits above the carpet it is about. No ads, no timers, plays offline. Everything you owned is still yours. 1.6.0 Sep 5 NEW SCREENSHOTS. THAT IS THE WHOLE UPDATE. The old ones were rendered by a machine with a ruler. Every rug was scrubbed in perfect straight lanes that stopped dead halfway down, like a paint roller had been through it — which is not how anybody has ever cleaned a carpet. The new ones were made by something that wanders. Crooked strokes, a patch missed in the middle, a corner somebody clearly gave up on. The Robo-Buddies are finally big enough to see, which felt relevant for a game with robots in it. Replaced the AI slop screenshots with AI dope ones. The game underneath is exactly the game you already have. 1.5.2 Sep 3 THE STORY Quitting was only the first scene. Your first customers are your own family, and not one of them actually needs a carpet cleaned. Forty-six conversations run from your mother's doormat to a hotel's test piece, with choices that branch, sixteen people who each have a voice of their own, and faces that change with the line. The game opens on DOORMATS now, and each bigger size is handed to you by a person: a test piece, at a standard they name out loud. Miss it and they tell you the number you actually got, then come back a few carpets later. An existing save keeps every size it had. You name the shop yourself. It will be on a van one day. A SILENCED PHONE NO LONGER SILENCES THE GAME If you play with the ring switch on the side of the phone turned to silent, this game has been completely silent for you, at every volume setting, since the day you installed it. It is not any more. One screen at startup says so, once, and OPTIONS is still where the music and the sound effects are turned off. THE TOP OF THE SCREEN IS ONE BLACK STRIP The day, whose rug this is, what it is, the money and the REP ledger all live in one bar across the top. On a phone with a Dynamic Island the black runs behind the glass. The wallet half opens the shop, the REP half opens the LAB. FAME is called REP everywhere now. The money reads in whole dollars, and a billion no longer prints as "$1000.0M". THE JOB BOARD IS A MENU OF SIZES Every slot used to roll its own size, so three mediums and nothing else was an ordinary Tuesday. One card of each size you have open is promised now, tiny then small then medium then large, and only the slots left over are rolled. Website & Ads is a ladder of sizes rather than a counter. The board is also only as tall as its cards, and it stays shut until you press JOBS. THE DELIVERY RECEIPT IS PRINTED A printer rises out of the shop floor and feeds the receipt out one line at a time, with the sound of a till. It tears off on a zigzag, and there are two chits: the money and the REP. A tap hurries the print. One finger slides a chit, two fingers turn and resize it, and the painting on it opens full screen. THE GOGGLES ARE A BLACKLIGHT The room drops to UV and the leftovers fluoresce. Dirt glows gold, mud a deep amber, stains purple, and a patch that has lost its colour glows blue. What glows is exactly the dirt, pixel for pixel, so the last speck is drawn at the size it really is. THE CREW MAKES A NOISE Forty little machines scrubbing a rug in total silence read as a bug. The fleet has one voice now: it gets bigger as the crew does, and louder when there is real muck coming off the brush. Two cards in the CREW aisle turn it and the bumps back down, and neither reaches silence. Every kind of stain has its own sound too. ALSO - The shop is seven aisles behind a switch bar, with badges counting what you can afford in each one. - Awards are a wall of badges. There are forty of them, up from twenty-two. - Every task is a day. The board is dated, and day 365 brings a party. - Mud you sling off a rug stays on your shop floor until you sweep it up. - The gallery counts 254 paintings now, up from 212. - The LAB is sorted cheapest first, and one card there lets you pin the job board to a single size of carpet. - Robots ignore wet foam until you buy them Dryer Fans, and Robo Caddies boot loose essence at the drain instead of walking it there. - The receipt prints in cents, and the ROUND UP TAX rounds the total up in your favour. - Every new shop lays a new floor, and lays it for you. - A rush ticket asks for a clean rug as well as a fast one, the mud sprays less, brush prices moved, and the floating tutorial text is gone. - Long-press the app icon on your home screen if you ever want to tell me what you think of it. Still no ads, and still no internet needed. The whole game plays offline. Everything you owned is still yours: sizes, stars, awards, robots and REP. 1.5.1 Sep 2 1.2.0 Aug 31
